Alexandereck in Ludwigsburg

We discovered the restaurant 2 weeks ago on a walk. After a nice chat with the owner, we ordered ToGo today. Nowadays it is even more important to support local companies. We had duck, roast venison, salad and fries for the child. Everything tasted excellent, tender, aromatic, the sauces a dream and everything was certainly homemade. It is rare that green lettuce does not come out of the bag. Thanks for the "sweet" greeting at the bottom of the bag. We become repeat offenders.

Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the positive reviews regarding the food ... I go there again and again because friends invite me there, but I don't know why they like it there. The last time was at the beginning of this year and maybe something has changed in the meantime :) I hope The sauces are NOT homemade. They are finished products that are "refined" with colored pepper. The onion roast is tough and if you cut out the fat and gristle, not much is left. The only good side dish is spaetzle. The rest are finished products (croquettes / french fries ...) Schnitzel is of course frozen too. The vegan Maultaschen are from citizens and you pay around € 12 for 4. In addition a ragout that was unbelievably overcooked ... The second vegetarian dish is also not recommended I could go on but the reason I'm writing this is because as a guest I feel ripped off and offended when someone offers me something like that Unfortunately, I have to say that it is better and, above all, cheaper and possibly better quality to put something in the microwave or toss in the deep fryer at home. The staff is incredibly friendly so I hope the food adapts to it.

One of the best restaurants when it comes to regional and seasonal cuisine. Daily meals are varied, tasty and cheap. The main menus are super tasty and when roasting you have to be careful not to bite your fork! 😊 Absolute recommendation! The service is very nice and courteous. Everyone who likes Swabian cuisine must have eaten here!

We are very excited, the Swabian food is at the highest level, and is complemented by the friendly and attentive service. We had fresh asparagus with Kräuterflädle and in front of it asparagus cream soup, everything fresh, the asparagus was not a single woody or bitter! Everything exactly to the point.

Family run restaurant with good home cooking. Bowling lanes on which we have been bowling for a decade. In that sense, I recommend trying it out. Good Appetite ! Bottom up! and good wood

Moderately, boss has said and in a not so nice tone then that we should go, he wants to finish work. This could have been said nicer, especially since we had already paid. I will not visit these locally anymore. Was really disappointed.
